Blue Sky Day Nursery

Blue Sky Day Nursery York is part of a small group of local, family owned and run day nurseries. The first opened in 2005 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. At Blue Sky We Promise To Care For Your Child As If They Were Our Own. This is our ethos and underpins everything we offer you and your child. We believe in working with the parents of our children in order to create the best childcare for your child. We are really lucky to have an amazing team of loving, caring, professionals who uphold the promise and more.

Our team are all qualified childcare practitioners who are also trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene. Blue Sky runs a program of ongoing professional development making sure the teams knowledge and training is relevant and up to date. Our healthy balanced meals are freshly prepared on site each day and aim to cover a wide range of food experiences. The menu is based on the ‘eat well plate’ low in salt and sugar but high in fruit, vegetables and lean meats. Children who attend for a full day will receive their full 5 a day whilst with us. We happily cater for allergies, food intolerances and religious or special dietary needs.

Blue Sky York is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm each day, for 51 weeks a year. We are not open on bank holidays or between Christmas and New Year. Our standard sessions are:

• Full Day - 7:30am to 6:00pm
• Morning – 7:30am to 12:00pm
• Afternoon – 12:30pm to 6:00pm
• Short day – 8:30am to 3:00pm

We also offer creche by the hour.
